Bill started his career with New York Life in August of 1997, straight out of St. John's University where he earned a degree in Finance. He spent his first two years as an Agent in the Long Island General Office before getting promoted to Sales Manager in June of 1999. Bill spent the next three and a half years building his team and helping grow the General Office, which resulted in his next promotion to Managing Partner of the Hudson Valley General Office in February of 2003. The next six years, under Bill's leadership, Hudson Valley saw many accomplishments, including winning five National Trophies and qualifying for the Partners Roundtable twice.

February, 2009 brought another promotion when Bill's was asked to become Zone Vice President of the South Central Zone in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Bill's role changed again in July of 2013 when he answered the call to return as a Managing Partner and head up the Jacksonville General Office where he is again focused on adding to the existing team and growing the office.

In the role of Managing Partner, Bill provides financial expertise, executive leadership and strategic direction to a team of associates who serve more than 25,000 clients throughout North Florida. His expertise includes asset protection, estate planning and business succession planning for business owners.

Bill, his wife of 14 years, LynMarie, and their three children, GiannaMarie, Julianna, and Andrew are quite happy to have relocated to Ponte Vedra Beach, and are enjoying the Florida lifestyle.

Curtis began his NYLIC career as a TAS agent in July 2011. His passion is helping individuals, families, and business owners reach their personal and financial goals, and making sure that they are financially literate in the areas of insurance and retirement planning.            

In 2015, he was recognized by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as a Top 40 Under 40 Advisor in the state of Florida where he now serves as the Treasurer.   Additionally, he is a member of New York Life’s Executive Council and led the Jacksonville General Office for the last two years in number of lives insured among established agents.  In 2017, Curtis was promoted to Associate Partner in the Jacksonville General Office. 

Curtis attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was awarded the AG Gaston and Presidential Minority Scholarships.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Business.

Curtis is active in his community through various charitable, industry, and civic organizations such as Communities in Schools, 100 Black Men of America, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and The National Association of Black Accountants.  He also recently started his own networking group designed to allow business owners to collaborate about issues relevant to the business community.

During his free time, Curtis enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, and is a huge sports fan. 

Curtis is married to Maritza James, and they are the proud parents of two children. He and his family currently reside in Jacksonville, FL.

Carolyn has been a part of the New York Life family since 1986, when her father, W. Scott Anders, became an Agent in the Chicago General Office.  As her father’s career progressed and evolved successfully across agency, management and corporate roles, Carolyn learned firsthand what it means to be a part of the Company You Keep.  After graduating magna cum laude from Colorado State University, she spent nearly 8 years in the commercial architecture industry before realizing her professional potential was truly best suited within the Company she grew up with.  Carolyn attributes her MBA from the University of Denver with giving her the confidence to embark upon a major career change, and in 2010, Carolyn became a New York Life Agent in the Northern Virginia General Office.  

During her Agent career, she consistently qualified for Executive Council memberships, earned the Annuity Elite Silver Award in 2014, and completed the Chartered Life Underwriter CLU® designation in 2016.  Over time, her natural leadership skills, peer-mentoring effectiveness, and thirst for professional knowledge resulted in encouragement from many sources to consider a role in Company management.  In March of 2015, Carolyn was called to bring these skills and talents to the Jacksonville General Office as the Development Manager.  In this role, Carolyn is responsible for the proper and effective implementation of NYLIC University coursework among all new and established Agents.  She is also an important member of the General Office management team in helping to accomplish the annual goals and objectives of the office.  Carolyn continues to develop her own professional knowledge in the completion of her ChFC designation, and many more to come.

Carolyn is a Colorado native, but nomadic by nature having lived in 11 States and 3 countries.  She is a well-seasoned traveler, has family and friends all over the world, and loves being back in Florida where she briefly was a College Intern at Disney World in 1999.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas and former United States Marine Corps Officer. Ed joined New York Life in 1997 as an Agent for the Norfolk General Office. He has had the honor of winning several New Organization awards to include, New Agent of the Year, multiple Centurion Awards, Life All Star, New Org Life FYC Leader, Life Case Rate Leader, multiple Executive Council qualifier and various industry awards.

In 2002, Ed became a Sales Development Manger in the Jacksonville General Office and in 2006 he began serving as Agency Standards Consultant for the Jacksonville, Savannah, and Charleston General Offices (Central Carolina and Myrtle Beach Sales Offices). Ed was promoted to Senior Agency Standards Consultant in March 2009 and currently serves the Jacksonville and Savannah General Offices.

Ed and his family live in Saint Johns, Florida and have enjoyed every minute of the Sunshine State since 2002.

Jennifer began her career in the United States Navy.   Jennifer joined New York Life in April 2000 in the San Antonio General Office.  In 2005, Jennifer transferred to the Memphis General Office as Administrative Manager, where she stayed for two years before being reassigned to the South Texas General Office.  In October 2010, Jennifer accepted the position of Director of Operations of the Jacksonville General Office.  As Director of Operations, Jennifer oversees the Individual Policy Services staff and systems,  ensures that appropriate internal controls are maintained, and is the immediate supervisor of the General Office administrative staff providing training and guidance.

Jennifer is the recipient of several awards throughout her career including, Profitability Manager of the Year, Relationship Manager of the Year, Education Excellence Award and Service Star Awards.
